Mrs. Calvin Byrom Dies at Age of 57. Mrs. Mary Deaton Byrom died at her home in Estill Spring, Friday, following an illness of several months. She was 57 years of age.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Mount Olivet Separate Baptist Church, with the Rev. B. F. Faulkner, of Murfreesboro, and the Rev. H. L. Todd, of Smyrna, officiating. Burial was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Steed-Anderton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Byrom was the widow of the late Rev. Calvin G. Byrom, and a daughter of the late James and Sallie Shasteen Deaton. She was a member of the Separate Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lou Brazelton, and a brother, Steve Deaton, both of Estill Springs; a half-sister, Mrs. Mittie Gray, Decherd, and 14 nieces and nephews.
