Emmett E. Myers, whose death at his home in Oklahoma City, Okla., November 19 was mentioned in this paper last week, was born in Brown county Ohio, September 12,1868. He removed with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E Myers, to Corning in 1881, where he united with the M. E. church in 1899. In January of the present year he removed to Oklahoma and on June 18 was united in marriage to Miss Emma Mae Humbert at Enid, Okla. The funeral was held at the home and the services were conducted by the paster of the M. E. Church. The Odd Fellows, of which order deceased was a member, had charge of the services Interment was made at Fairlawn cemetery. Mr. Myers was a young man of the best character, who was universally esteemed and respected. His death caused sorrow to many friends in this county.
