Mrs. Agnes Hardin Miles, 84, of Knoxville passed away Thursday December 1, 2011 in Knoxville. She was retired from the Department of Energy.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Miles, parents James Rankin Hardin and Irene Marie Steele Hardin, sister Violet Hardin (Jack) Calfee and Hazel Hardin, Marie Hardin Thomas, brother Jesse ( Lorinda Linda Allen) Hardin, sister-in-law Ada Lou Hardin, and brother-in-law Allen Thomas.
Mrs. Miles is survived by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, brother James "Jay" Williams Hardin, stepchildren Doris Adams and Joyce (Jerry) Herron both of Smyrna, TN, Nancy (Sam) Hedrick, Marie (Glen) Hobby both of Knoxville, Vickie (Dan) Sanchez of Jacksonville, FL, Donna (David) Coakley of Newport, great niece Lucindy (Daryl) Pack of Newport.
The funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday December 5, 2011 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Spell officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday December 5, 2011 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
