SLEDGE - Tina Marie Hamilton Parrish, 45, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford after a long illness. She was born June 25, 1966, in Sledge. She moved to the Pontotoc area in 1992. She was a licensed beautician and a CNA, and she owned a daycare center for several years. She accepted Christ as the age of 13 at Hollywood Baptist Church. She attended Horton Memorial Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her large family and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Horton Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Owen Hitchcock officiating. Burial will be in Turnpike Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Shane Parrish; her daughter, Angela McLaughlin (Greg); her son, Kyle Parrish; grandchildren, Maddy and Walker; her sister, Sherry Hattaway (Tommy); her parents, Brewer and Mildred Hamilton; and her grandmother, Ruth Cook.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Mable Hamilton, and Alba Cook.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Cook, Chad Parrish, Rodney Parrish, Teddy Willard, Brandon Thacker and Daniel Thacker.
