DRY BRANCH - James Oliver Batts, 74, of Kaolin Heights Rd., passed away Thursday December 1, 2011 in Macon.

Services will be held Sunday December 4, 2011 at 3:00PM in Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Outlaw will officiate.

Mr. Batts was born in Cochran, GA the son of the late Odell and Fannie Simmons Batts. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Mr. Batts was a retired Operator with Imerys Kaolin in Dry Branch. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge #133 and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his Wife, Elizabeth Batts. Children, Doug (Rhonda) Batts, Denese Smith, and Dawn (Patrick) Infante. Granddaughter, Ashton Smith and Grandson, Collin Infante. Sister, Virginia Mauldin. Several nieces and nephews.
