Glen was a veteran of the United States Marines.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Gale Sutphin; and son, Randall W. Custer.
He is survived by his son, Glen Loyd Sutphin Jr. (Eskie); daughters, Betty Gale Sallee (Poo), and Pamela Maria Sutphin; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Richard Kelly Glover Jr.; grandchildren, William Cody Cox, Matthew Calob Cox, Chelsea Shae Sutphin, Kelsey Gale Glover, Kaitlin Maria Glover, Holly Marie Sutphin, Tarren James Sutphin Chiffons, and Randy W. Custer; three greatgrandchildren; and special friend, Donna Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service held 2 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Sunrise Burial Park with the Reverend Bobby Sutphin officiating.
