Obituary:

Privetts, Beatrice Alene, 88 of Mimbres, New Mexico passed away November30, 2011 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Monday- December 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery. Beatrice was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, she was a girl scout leader,Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star #4. She was a retired member of the Upper Mimbres Volunteer Fire Department. She loved to sew, crochet, gardening , enjoyed canning with her children, camping and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Abbie Cobb, her husband William Privetts and her daughter Lois Jean Hooten , two grandsons, a sister Bertha Harper and two brothers, and one sister-in-law Elsie Cobb. She is survived by three sons, William B. Privetts, Jr. (Wilma Lee) of Denver City, Texas, Bobby Jim Privetts of Ft. Worth, Texas and Charles Ray Privetts of Mimbres, NM. Two daughters JoAnn Powers of Mimbres, N M and Sandra Kay Gaston (Lawrence) of Ft. Worth, Texas. Nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, one sister Jean Harris (Bill) of Federalway, Washington and one brother William Cobb of Mimbres, NM. Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
