Mr. Sheller died Tuesday in Ball Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born near DeSoto, the son of Perry and Carrie Bailey Sheller, and lived his entire life in this area. He worked at Trout's Plumbing and Heating for several years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 661 and had served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He attended the First Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Bowman Sheller; two daughters, Mrs. Patty Dark of Muncie, and Mrs. Betty Kaufman of Lorain, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Bitha Cultice of Muncie; five granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
