Funeral services for Emil Steinfadt, age 79, of Hawarden, Iowa were held Monday, November 13, 1972 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. 6. F., Pittack officiated, burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Dow Funeral Home. Mr. Steinfadt died November 9 at the Rock Valley Nursing Home.

He was born October 6, 1893 in Plymouth County. On January 22, 1915 he married Minnie Heuer at Le Mars. He was a veteran of World War 1. Mr. Steinfadt farmed in the Hawarden area, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawarden and was a director on the Sioux Center Hospital board.

Survivors are his widow; son Orland of Hudson, S.D.; daughters, Mrs. Don (Minerva) Schneider of Akron, Mrs. Adrian (Helen) Koal of Hawarden; nine grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Klave of Akron.
