GARNETT--Mrs. Ida Abigail Peters, 89, Garnett, died Feb. 24, at a Garnett hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1895, at Overbrook, the daughter of Ralph and Julia Miller Benjamin. She spent most of her life in the Garnett area.
Mrs. Peters was a member of the Baptist Church at Garnett.
She married Maurice Peters Aug. 21, 1918, at Garnett. He died in 1948.
Survivors include four sons: Lloyd, James, Wayne and Ellsworth; two sisters, Dorothy Hardesty and Helen Benjamin; three brothers, Ollie Benjamin, Otto Benjamin and Gene Benjamin; 28 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
