Nelson Clinton "Buddy" Adcock

Nelson Clinton "Buddy" Adcock, 82, of Denton, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Pilot Point.

Mr. Adcock was born on September 28, 1929 in Green Valley, TX to Clint and Viola (Meador) Adcock. He was married to Lucille "Lucy" Belcher in Denton in 1949. He was a Communication Technician for GTE-Verizon for thirty-seven years.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday December 1, 2011 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2011 at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton. Rev. Zack Pannell will officiate the service.

Mr. Adcock is survived by his wife, Lucy Adcock of Denton; sons, Carl Adcock and his wife Debbie of Aubrey, Clinton "Stinky" Adcock and his wife Shelly of Denton; sisters, Pat Faught of San Saba, Sandra Adams of Denton, Mary Ford of Carrollton; brother, Kenneth Adcock of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Ray Adcock.
