Ginger was the daughter of Sharon and Joe Terry Hayden, although her parents divorced when she was young. She shared a close bond with her mother who was diagnosed with M S. Ginger was murdered in her bedroom by a 17 year old guy that she considered a friend. The crime was not solved until 2012 with DNA help. Fortunately her mother was still alive to see justice for her daughter.
