Born about 1669 at The Abbey manor house in Lower Lelant, daughter of Arthur Edwards, gentleman, and his unknown wife. She survived her only brother, Thomas Edwards, who died in his late teens, and became the sole heir of her father's estates. In 1702 she married Andrew Hosking, younger son of a well-to-do yeoman, and upon the death of her father they moved into the Abbey and her husband and descendants styled themselves 'gentleman'. She was the mother of a namesake son and daughter. She died in 1725, probably September.
