Nathaniel Aiken, son of Edward & Barbara (Edwards) Aiken, was born 14 May 1696 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland and died 1 December 1783 in Londonderry, Rockingham Co., NH. He married 1 Dec 1726 (some references say 1725) in Londonderry, Rockingham Co., NH to Margaret Cochran, daughter of John Ro & Jean Cochran. Margaret was born about 1710 in Northern Ireland and died 1788 in NH. One historian says they had 12 children. Nathaniel was town constable and held other town offices.

The graves of Nathaniel and Margaret have not been found in the Forest Hill Cemetery near those of his parents, although the graves of two of their daughters, Eleanor and Margaret, are in the same lot with the girls' grandparents. The mystery of where Nathaniel and Margaret died and are buried has not been solved.
