William H. Goodenow, 75, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at Rosewood Care Center.
Born April 23, 1936, in Chicago, the son of H. Tracy and Helen L. Goodenow. Mr. Goodenow attended elementary and high school in Chicago, Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston in 1975, with a degree in industrial management. He was employed for many years by TEE-PAK, Inc., both in Chicago and Danville. He subsequently taught at Rock Valley Community College in Rockford for 10 years and completed his working career at Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., in Beloit, WI.
Survived by son, Mark R. Goodenow; daughter, Rose Sharon Schultz; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and William Groenier; as well as nieces.
Predeceased by his parents and brother, Donald B. Goodenow.
