First marriage 1827, to Ann Kelley, dau of Israel and Lydia(Farrington) Kelley, b 1805 in Newport.
Ann died in 1842 leaving eight small children. He married second in 1844 to Charlotte(Hilliard) daughter of Joseph and Roxana(Day) Hilliard.
Charlotte and Quartus then had four children
Mr Fletcher came to Cornish in 1826 and settled in the southeast part of town, in a district called the "Hempyard". Here he spend the remainder of his life..He was a prosperous farmer and a respected citizen..
