Roman Catholic Saint. One of the forty-eight "Martyrs of Córdoba", he was a priest in Ananelos near Cordoba, Spain. He refused to give up his Christian beliefs and was ordered beheaded by the Islamic Moorish authorities, after which his body was thrown to the dogs. His Feast Day is celebrated on July 11.
