Ruby Howard, 89, was born in Coleman, Texas, on July 25, 1919 and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2009 in Livingston, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Coleman, Texas, Sunday, May 17, 2009,
At 11:00 AM.

She was a retired nurse from Reagan Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Big Lake, Texas. She was a member of the Eastern Star from the Chapter from Big Lake, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters, Kate Bushong, Midland, and Mary Ann and Chuck Perkins of Onalaska; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Bill Fowler of Big Lake, Texas, Canon Prichard, of Livingston, the staff at Pine Ridge Care Center, and Nancy Eisenhower.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Martha Canady; husbands Austin Armstrong and Bryan Howard; son Richard Hale Norris; daughter Kay Tinker Gordon, step-daughter Carolyn Newman, grandson Zayne Gordon, great-granddaughter Tricia Moths, brothers; Harry and Ned Canady, and sisters Molly and Ella Ruth.

The family has entrusted Pace Funeral Home to handle the arrangement.
