Oliver Morton Ware was born 16 Aug 1864 in West Liberty, Union Township, Howard County, Indiana, the son of Jesse Ware (1825-1899) and Lucinda Main (1834-1918).

In 1877 Oliver owned land in Union Township, Howard County, Indiana. His land can be found on the "Map of Union Township" at the bottom left hand corner of the map.

The 1880 US Census has him still living in Liberty Township.

He married Aura Mary Price on 20 Aug 1887 in Howard County, Indiana. The wedding was performed on Saturday at 8:40pm by Edward W. Osborn, minister of the Methodist E. Church of Greentown, Ind. Witnesses: Thomas H. Price & wife Hannah, Algia Osborn, A. L. Johnson & Lorena Penland.

In 1900 they are living in Liberty Township. On 25 Jul 1904 there is a photo of two Ware children in front of the OM Ware home in Greentown, corner of Mill street and East Main. In 1905 they are still living in Greentown, Indiana.

The family moved to Shelbyville, Shelby, Indiana sometime in the last half of 1905.

On 20 Feb 1906 Oliver signed a contract to lease the building at 34 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, Indiana.

Several newspaper ads were placed in The Daily Democrat by Oliver which ran from Sep-Dec 1909.

Oliver appeared in the Shelbyville City Directory in 1910.

The Indianapolis Star newspaper, June 10, 1910 under the heading of Shelbyville it states: "Mrs. Lucinda Ware of Greentown is here the guest of her son, O. M. Ware, and family." No doubt his mother was saying goodbye to them since they moved shortly thereafter to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Oliver and Aura Ware family lived in Colorado Springs, CO for about 2 years, between 1911-1913.

In 1914 the family moved to Los Angeles, California. They bought a home at 1023 West 43rd St., Los Angeles, Calif.

In 1916 Oliver was working in the Denver area of Colorado. He received a letter from Aura on 19 Apr 1916 addressed to him in Denver.

In the 1920 US Census Oliver was living at home at 1023 W. 43rd St., Los Angeles, California.

Oliver passed away 9 Jan 1923 at the Los Angeles County Hospital and was buried 12 Jan 1923 in the Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 E. Florence Ave, Inglewood, CA.; Lot 100, Plot Myrtle, grave 4 (L-R). His wife Aura was the informant.
