George Henry Lagedrost, 68, 19 N. Seventh St., died at his residence Sunday, 1 a.m. of a heart condition. Although Mr. Lagedrost has been in ill health since November, death was unexpected. He was born in Hamilton, January 7, 1884, the son of Henry and Anna Janser Lagedrost. He had lived in Butler County his entire life. He was employed as a machinist at Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton Corporation and his chief interests were his home and family. Mr. Lagedrost's wife, Rose, preceded him in death in January, 1946. Survivors include two sons, Walter, Cincinnati, and Clarence, Hamilton; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Archdeacon, Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. William Chalk, Hamilton, and Mrs. Joseph Niehaus, Mt. Healthy; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. A Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
