Nick Rogers
Nick Rogers, age 81 of West died Monday, August 22 at his residence. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel, with the Reverend Weldon Barnard officiating, burial was in Scott's Chapel near Aquilla.
Mr. Rogers was born October 27, 1906 near Aquilla. The son of Edward and Nora Hale Rogers. He lived in Aquilla area most of his life. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Boyd Rogers in 1960 and an infant Jessie in their early years. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by one son, Doyle Rogers of Fort Worth; one daughter, Bonnie McDaniel of Hillsboro and four grandchildren.
