Elizabeth first married James H. Bemis in December 1875 in Greenwood County, Kansas; they had two children: Clara and Ella Mae. She then married James Asberry Brewer on 8 Jan 1882 in Cowlitz County, WA. She had ten children in 1900 census. Forest was born in June of 1900 making a total of 11 children.
