Burrell Franklin Beacham (various spellings, Burrell, Burl, Berl, and Beachum, Beacham, Beecham) was a son of Elijah Beachum (c.1808-c.1906) and his wife Mary "Polly" Utley, of Anson County, North Carolina. His family was in Clarke Co., Miss. in 1860, and in Henderson Co., Tenn. by 1880.
Burrell married Mary Jane Denison (c. 1858-before 1889) around 1875, and they had at least three children: Andrew Walter Beacham (1876-1947, m. Nealy Bell Daniel, went to Paris, Lamar Co., Texas), Julia M. Beacham (1878-1901, m. William Richard Petty, remained in Henderson Co., Tenn.) and Eliza A. Beacham (c. 1879). After Mary Jane's death, Burrell married Sarah F., maiden name unknown to me (1858-1923), circa 1889. It was the second marriage for both of them.
