It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, and opa. Born October 3, 1934. Passed away on November 29, 2011 after a four-year battle with dementia.

Born to Milton Willard Lee and Ruth Tate Lee in Tooele, Utah, Jerry grew up in and had great Tooele pride. Graduated from Tooele High, attended Snow College. He exceled in baseball, basketball and football.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany, where he met the love of his life, Anna Margot "Marge" Lang and married on March 7, 1958.

Jerry could always be found on the softball field, golf course, and the bowling lanes with his girls or the dance floor with his wife. He was a strong and passionate man who loved life.

Marge and Jerry were married for fifty-three years and had five daughters and one son: Schatzi Silva, Kelli (Kevin) Conlin, Cheri (Sam) Ortega, Darci Lee (Brian), Bobbi Jo "Robert" Lindsey, and Shane Jerry (Heather) Young. Jerry is survived by his three sisters Diane Lee, Candace (Mike) Walters, and Debra (Jeff) Norton. He was Opa to seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, and sister Mary Belle Johannessen.

A special thanks to his care providers at the VA nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior, on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel. Friends and family may call on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East).

Until we dance again, Jer.
