Mrs. Irene Grace (Metzroth) Roth, 73, of the Claudia Nursing Home, formerly of 1513 Keys Ave., died at 5:45 a.m. Sept. 27, 1971 at St. John's Hospital.
A retired employee of the International Shoe Co., Mrs. Roth was born in Springfield, the daughter of James and Grace Page Ostenburg.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Church.
Surviving are one son, Larry Metzroth, of Springfield; two brothers, John Ostenburg, of Danville; and Roy Ostenburg, of Springfield; six sisters, Mrs. Edna Metzroth, Mrs. Alice Werner, Mrs. Agnes Gaudet, Mrs. Della Clifford, Mrs. Dorothy Rogers and Mrs. Gladys Pavlik, all of Springfield; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at St. Aloysius Church.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
