Mrs. Minnie Metzroth, 64, died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock in the morning, May 24, 1928, at her the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.L. Parker, 724 South Fourteenth street. The cause of death is believed to have been a sudden heart attack.


Mrs. Metzroth is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. E.E. Adkinson, and Mrs. John Cantrall, of Springfield; and Mrs. Thomas Bennett, of Chillicothe; two sons, John N. and Frank, of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Giessal [sic], of Alton; and Mrs. Conrad Hartman, of Springfield; and twenty grandchildren.


Funeral services were held at the George J. Gaa's funeral home and at St. Joseph's church.


Interment was made in Calvary cemetery.
