DAVID WISE: 62, CarlisleTwp, died on Sunday [3-27] at EMH Regional Medical Cntr, following a short illness. David was born 19 Jan 1949 in Elyria. He lived in the Elyria & Grafton areas his entire life. He was a 1967 graduate of Mid-view High School. He retired from Allied Waste in Elyria after over 30yrs of service in January of 2011. He was a member of Elyria AMVETS Post-32 & the Grafton VFW Post-3341. David enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing & camping. He also enjoyed stock car racing & NASCAR. He especially loved his family & his pet cat KittyBoy.
He is survived by his companion of many years Gloria Dybo; 3 daus: Jill (Mike) Fortner-Springville TN; Kelly (Butch) Poling-Litchfield, Rebecca (Tony) Summers-Columbus; a bro: Robert Wise-CarlisleTwp; & a sister: Donna Wise-Pasadena CA. He was preceded in death by a son-David Michael (Bud) Wise in 1992; & his parents: Paul & Geraldine Wise.
Friends will be received in the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home-Elyria on Wednesday. Graveside committal services will be held Thursday morn [3-31] at Brookdale Cemetery-Elyria; RevGary Lauzon will officiate.
Memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
