Obituary:
Otis - George Freidenberger, Sr., 82, died Tuesday afternoon at Rush County Memorial
Hospital, LaCrosse, after a one week's illness. Born, Feb. 9, 1887, at
Freidenberg, Russia, he married Sophie Kindsfatter, Jan. 16, 1912,
at Rocky Ford, Colo. He had been a retired farmer and a resident
of Rush County since 1907.
He was a member of the Otis Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widow; sons, Herbert, Hutchinson, Alex, Bison,
George Jr., Otis, Richard, Alamogordo, N.M. and daughters
Mrs. Esther Brack, LaCrosse, Mrs. Alice Paschall, Hutchinson,
Mrs. Helen Lorenz, Bison, Mrs. Raymond Boele, Ukiah, Calif.;
33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday at the church with the
Rev. Theo Judt officiating.
The Hoover Funeral Home, LaCrosse, was incharge of arrangements.
Burial was in the Otis Lutheran Cemetery.
