WALTER BURROWS ST., RETIRED GROCERY SALESMAN, DIES AT 71
Walter Burrows St., 71, 1827 Meyers, died Thursday at 11:15 am at his residence.
A Native of Moline, Kan., he came to Paducah 68 years ago. For a number of years, he was a printer foreman for the Old Sutherland Medicine Co., a retired grocery food salesman, he was a member of Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie Burrows; three sons, Walter Burrows, Jr. of Paducah, Arthur Lee Burrows of Paducah and Jack Burrows of the U.S. Army in Chine; a step=son, Eugene W. Davis of the U.S. Navy in Virginia; two half-sisters, Mrs. Arthur Orr of Paducah and Mrs. Fred Miller of Louisville; seven grandchildren and several other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 pm at Lindsey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ed Glover and the Rev. Paul Snellgrove officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
The Body is at Lindsey Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Henry Henneberger, James R. Wilson, Russell Clark, W. H. Webb, Vernon Glison and Kay Dick.
