Roby - Audra Ann (Cobb) Bolton, 75, died October 28, 2009 at Hendricks Memorial Hospital in Abilene. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born September 7, 1934 in Silverton, Texas, Audra was the daughter of the late James Miller and Sally Dora (Freeman) Cobb. Audra moved to Rotan as a child and after graduation from Rotan High Scholl in 1952, she married Joe Donald Bolton on December 19, 1953. Audra was a homemaker and assisted Don with their business at the Bolton Insurance Agency. Audra was a Christian. She is preceded in death by her parent, nine brother and sisters: Ozella Meadows, Eli Cobb, Charles Cobb, James Cobb, Mary Tumbleson, Dorothy Alliff, Tommie Ridings, Bill Cobb, and Bobby Cobb.
Audra is survived by her husband Don Bolton of the home, three sons; Donald Lynn Bolton, Mark Douglas Bolton, and Alan Wayne Bolton all of Roby; one daughter, Pamela Kaye Palmer of Houston; one sister, Peggy Barrington; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Palmer, Leslie Gail Chaney, and Brad Palmer, Jr.; five great-grandchildren.
