Chris was born on August 3, 1977 in Winchester, VA, a son of Charles Morrison of Mt. Carmel, PA and Sandra Whitacre Slifer and step-father: Barry Slifer of Winchester, VA.
He attended Strasburg High School where he was a member of the wrestling squad. He was a 1997 graduate at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Staunton, VA and attended one year at Galludet University in Washington D.C.
Surviving with his parents is one brother: Scott Morrison of Alexandria, VA; one sister: Jessi Slifer of Fairlawn, VA; maternal grandmother: Hazel Whitacre of Winchester, VA; paternal grandmother: Nellie Morrison Gregory of Winchester, VA; six nieces and nephews; best friend: Travis Hoffman of Hagerstown, MD.
A memorial service will be held at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery Chapel in Winchester, VA on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Stottlemyer. Inurnment will be at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
