Obituary: TRUMAN W. BRACKENBURY SR. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 1995, in the First Baptist Church in Gresham. Mr. Brackenbury died of complications of emphysema Aug. 9 at age 66. He was born Jan. 9, 1929, in Twin Falls, Idaho, and moved to the Portland area when he was 14. He married Jacqueline Kreamier on May 29, 1948. Mr. Brackenbury worked for Reynolds Aluminum in Troutdale, retiring in 1970.


Survivors are his wife; son, Truman Jr. of Gresham; daughters, Diana Lewis and Debra Lay, both of Gresham; brothers, Al and John, both of Portland; sisters, Bertha Clark of Shelton, Wash., Margaret Willis and Bernita Vannetta, both of Oroville, Calif., Ruby Gates of Marysville, Calif., and Betty Shaver of Vancouver, Wash.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Arrangements: Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel in Gresham.
