Peggy Ann Doyle, 77, of Monticello died at 7:40 am, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.

She was born October 6, 1934 in Lake County, Indiana to the late Ivan and Jennie (Garling) Kesler. On February 21, 1953, she married Ronald C. Doyle in Rensselaer. He preceded her in death November 23, 1986.

She was a 1951 graduate of Monon High School. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. She had worked for Bryan Manufacturing and RCA. She and her husband Ron owned and operated Doyle Appliances.She then went to work as the personnel director for K Mart from which she retired. She was active with the Rainbow at the church. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, sewing, embroidery, crocheting, and walking her dogs.Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Ann (Vernon) Pratt of Francesville, Pamela Kay (Bruce) Grove of Monticello; two sisters, Jenna Doyle of Miamisburg, Ohio, Doris (Don) Griffin of Monon; two brothers, Earl (Connie) Kesler of Brookston, Carl (Linda) Kesler of Monticello; five grandchildren, Katie (David) Hall, Veronica (Wes) McNear, Vernon "Bo" (Kati) Pratt, Maggie Grove, Cody (Lexi) Pratt; and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Lynn Doyle.

The family will receive visitors from Noon until 3pm, Saturday, at the Monticello United Methodist Church.

In keeping with Peggy's wishes, private family services will be Saturday morning with Rev. Brian Beeks from the Monticello United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested memorial contributions be given to Riley Hospital. Envelopes will be available.

Springer-Voorhis-Draper Home of Monticello is entrusted with care.
