STAYTON, ROBERT EUGENE, 57, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was born in Louisville on July 24, 1947, and was a retired carpenter for US Housing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Jo Stayton. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Eugene Stayton, Robert Wayne Grennell and Johnny Lee Grennell; four stepbrothers, George, Ernest, Terry and Kenneth Alexander; his mother and stepfather, Rebecca and J.B. Wathen; and two grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
