Vina Breaux, age 95 of Winnie, Texas died November 28, 2011 at the Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas.
She was born July 27, 1916 in Mermentau, Louisiana to Alcee Benoit and Amelia Landry Benoit. Mary had lived in the Winnie area for over seventy years.
She is survived by her son, Mason Breaux and his wife, Myrna of Winnie, daughters, Shirlene Humphries and her husband James W. of Vidor, Mazie Harrington and her husband, Bubba of Winnie and Rita Abshire and her husband, Troy E. of Onalaska, brother, Reed Benoit and his wife, Adelia of Winnie, sisters, Trixie Bertrand and her husband, Alex and Jeanette Verde all of Beaumont, twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Saint Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive.
Burial to follow at Fairview cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie.
