Survivors include a son, Damon C. Butler, Jr.; daughter, Ashley Butler; his mother, Frances P. Butler; two sisters, Violet Butler and Belinda Dickerson; two brothers, Don Butler and Robby Butler and a special friend, Susan Harris.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd, Jarratt, Virginia. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
