Screen Character Actor. He is remembered for films such as "Four Sons" (1928), "Strictly Dishonorable" (1931), "Pick-up" (1933), "Remember Last Night?" (1935), "Mr. Deed Goes to Town" (1936), "History is Made at Night" (1937), "The Roaring Twenties" (1939), "High Sierra" (1941), "Casablanca" (1942) (as the man who approaches Rick after Ugarte's Arrest), "Angel in my Shoulder" (1946), "One Touch of Venus" (1948) and "The Invisible Monster" (1951). He died from Alzheimer's disease.
