Charles F. Shellman, 75, retired farmer on Route 2, Lake Odessa, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at 11 o'clock at Pennock Hospital at Hastings where he had been admitted earlier in the day.
He was born February 20, 1879, in Ohio, the son of Francis and Catherine Shellman, and lived in the Lake Odessa community since he was a small boy.
He is survived by his wife Ella Mae Valentine Shellman, two daughters, Miss Della Shellman at home, and Mrs. Nelson Begerow of Lake Odessa; one sister, Mrs. Roy Wilson, three brothers, Oliver, William and Burt, and one grandson, all of Lake Odessa.
The body reposes at Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
