L.W. Ferguson, was kicked by a horse yesterday evening and killed instantly at or near his home on Adams Creek. The animal was a wild colt and the unfortunate man was trying to break it into the harness when the sad accident occurred. The vicious blow landed directly over or a little under the heart, death resulting instantly, it is thought, without a struggle or pain. The deceased was 28 or 30 years old and leaves a young wife to mourn his untimely and unnatural death. The remains will be interred sometime to-morrow.
