Graveside services were held Monday, 8 October, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Felix Keys, minister of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan was born 5 February 1901, in Paris, a daughter of Edwin Jenkins and Mary Ellen Hugo Jenkins.
She lived at her birthplace, 424 W. Shiloh St., until moving to Ridgefield, CT a few years ago to be near her daughter.
She attended Graham Elementary School and was a 1918 graduate of Paris High School.
She also attended business college and was employed as bookkeeper at several businesses including Cummer-Graham.
She married Calvin Miller Morgan Jr. on 8 February 1928. He died 5 February 1942.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Martha Jane (Donald) McCaskill, of Ridgefield, CT; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Goodman of Fort Worth and Mrs. Arthur Moore of Paris; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Joseph Moss of Paris and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. H.L. Somerville and Ned Jenkins and Bob Jenkins, all of Paris.
