Mrs. Catherine Yeager, widow of Joseph Yeager, who died several years ago, passed away at her home in Pleasant Flatts Tuesday morning, a week ago, at the advanced age of 83 years. She was one of those grand ladies whom to know was to love and admire. She is survived by four children, Mrs. John Walkup, Mack, John and James S., all residents of the Flats settlement. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Will H. Gilmore at the Walkup residence, Thursday afternoon, after which the remains were interred in the Walkup burying ground.
