Tewksbury Died Friday

Ella B. Tewksbury, 90, died Friday at Yavapai Community Hospital. She was born on Nov. 25, 1883 in Rankin, Tenn., and came to Arizona at an early age with her parents.

She originally lived in Prescott for two years and moved to Crown King where she met and married Walter Tewksbury, the last of the Pleasant Valley War Tewksbury's.

He died in 1945, and she lived in Prescott for the past five years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jean Burges, of Prescott, Mrs. Vivian Nelson of Crown King, Mrs. Anna Deck of Baldwin Park, Calif.; two sons, Everett Yount, of Crown King, Theodore Yount of Phoenix; one sister, Mrs. Leolie Moser, of Vonroe, Tennessee; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday at Hampton Funeral Home.

Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery.
