Elizabeth Ann Frosio, 79, of Atlantic Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in her daughter's home surrounded by her family, on January 4, 2007 after a short battle with Leukemia. Liz was born on September 6, 1927 in Gainesville, Florida to Edward Hamilton Calhoun and Josephine Ann Dwyer.

Liz was preceded in death by her devoted husband Commander Robert C. Frosio who was a decorated Navy pilot killed in action in November 1966 while stationed at Cecil Field. She was also preceded in death by her loving son Stephen Andrew Frosio. Liz graduated from John Ringling School of Arts in Sarasota, Florida. She was an active member of Neptune Baptist Church for 19 years. Liz had a wonderful sense of humor and endeared herself to all who knew her. She was artistic and creative and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She will be missed but not forgotten.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Calhoun Bolger and by her four children, Bob Frosio, Kathy Frosio, Al Frosio and Mary Frosio and by her grandchildren, Bob Frosio Jr., Aaron Frosio, Nathan Frosio, Rebekah Austin Wolf, Rachel Austin, Jeremiah Brzoska, Brett Frosio, and great grandchildren Isabella Thompson and Tristan Frosio. A memorial service will be held at Neptune Baptist Church on Sunday January 7, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at H. Warren Smith Memorial Cemetery.
