She was a former Monticello resident

Madgelene M. Bell, 75, Montpelier, Ohio, formerly of Monticello, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at the Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.

She was born in Tipton on Feb. 16, 1932, to Allena Lily Wood and E. Darrell Dowden. She married Howard E. Bell on July 23, 1951. He survives.

Other survivors are sons, Michael A. (Deborah) Bell, Montpelier, Ohio, Patrick H. (Christina) Bell, Edon, Ohio, Kevin T. (special friend Janet Lucas) Bell, Apex, N.C., David B. (Jennifer) Bell, Huron, Ohio, and William D. (Sabrina) Bell, Edgerton, Ohio; daughter, Linda (Joseph) Denman, Creston, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters.

Her son, James Steven Bell, and one sister are deceased.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier, Ohio, with Pastor David Hixson officiating. Burial is at the Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier, Ohio.

Memorials may be given to the family.
