Beulah A. Barton , 90, of Hurley Road, Brasher Falls passed away on November 26, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Beulah is survived by sons James Arthur and wife Deborah of Brasher Falls, NY: Arthur Murland and wife Priscilla of Massena, Theodore Thomas Barton of Brasher Falls, daughter, Marie Beulah McCarthy of Saratoga, NY; daughter in-laws Ruth of Potsdam and Sylvia Barton of Norfolk, NY: a sister Electa Agnes Davis of Hammond, NY: many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, also surviving Beulah are longtime friends; Marylyn Rose, Donald Douglas, and Ralph Douglas; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Sally Irene Derouchie, two sons, Wayne Frank Barton and Floyd Edward Barton Jr.; sons in-law, Francis Derouchie; daughter in-laws; Toni Barton , Nikola Margaret Barton ; sisters: Irene Besaw, Elizabeth Besaw and Louise Mabel Besaw; and brothers; Albert J., Arthur J., Bernard F., Lawrence M. and Leo G. Besaw.

Beulah was born on March 28, 1921 in Massena the daughter of Frank and Agnes LaBarge(Besaw). She married Floyd Barton on April 23, 1938 at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Gerald Kellogg. Mr. Barton predeceased her on December 12, 1999. At one time she was employed at the Mica plant in Massena. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Brasher Falls. Beulah loved having family and friends around and neighbor kids when her children were young. She loved to donate food, money, clothes or anything else that anyone may need. Her need to help others superseded her needs.

Friends and family may be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home, in Massena. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11 a .m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley
