Doris Ervin Mohr, 96, formerly of Greenway Road, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at White Oak Manor in Tryon, NC. Born April 11, 1910, in Northport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Mumford and Ella Dehling Ervin and the wife of the late Charles Mohr. She was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City, having received a liberal arts degree her first year and an executive secretarial degree her second year. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Schindler and her husband Robert of Canton, GA, and Ginger Ledford of Chesnee; a granddaughter, Heidi Vignocchi and her husband Kevin of Highland Park, IL; five grandsons, Michael C. Parks of Greensboro, NC, Matthew Parks and his wife Jana of Durham, NC, Eric Schindler and his wife Crystal of Blue Ridge, GA, Christopher Ledford and his wife Christy of Kensington, MD, and Robbie Ledford of Charleston; three great-granddaughters, Caely, Abby Grace, and Hally Ledford; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Becky Capps.
