Professional Football Player. For nine seasons (1963 to 1971, 1974), he played at the offensive-guard and defensive-end positions in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts. Born Edison Harrington, he played collegiate football at Lansgton University and was a three-time Oklahoma State Weightlifting Champion (receiving the nickname "Hercules"), before joining Toronto of the CFL, where he distinguished himself earning All-Star status in 1964 and All-Canadian honors three-times (1968 to 1970). He experienced a Grey Cup Game appearance in 1971, while with the Argonauts. Following his football career, he served as Physical Director of the Toronto YMCA. In 2010, he was named to the All-Time Argos list. He died from cancer.
