THE PARIS NEWS Mon., Sep. 19, 1994, p.6A. 'Deport - Edith Anita Bryson, 86, of Deport, died Friday, Sep. 16, 1994, at her home. Chapel services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sep. 18, and burial was in Highland Cemetery by Wood Funeral Home. Mrs. Bryson was born Sep. 18, 1907, in Duffau, TX, a daughter of Norman and Minnie Elkins Reese [sic]. She married Ed [Edgar Lee] Bryson Mar. 7, 1947, in Deport. She was a surgical nurse and a medical secretary for many years prior to her retirement. Surviving are her husband; a son-in-law, Richard (Dick) Haydock of Deer Park; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne Haydock in 1990. Pallbearers were Dr. Hale Glover, Dr. Sam Kelsey, Mike Francies [sic], Dave Seber, Luther Wright and Hobart Loven.'
