She was a life long resident of Harrison township born November 4, 1869 the daughter of Mr and Mrs Reiner Pelsma, formerly of Union township.
Her marriage to Amos Nusbaum took place May 10, 1891. He died April 27, 1931.
She was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren.
Surviving besides the daughter is a son, Rev Earl Nusbaum of Elkhart and a brother, John R Pelsma of Pittsburg, Kans, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a daughter, Mabel, died in 1930.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, with a prayer service at the Stickel home at 1:30 followed by services at 2 o’clock at the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren Rev Harvey S Bowers of the Baugo Ccurch of the Brethren officiated. Burial was in the Yellow Creek cemetery.
