Friday Jan. 18, 1918 DROPS DEAD DRESSING Man stricken with heart disease while preparing for work.
JOHN ZIMMERER, 26 years old, of 1721 N. Bethel Street, died suddenly this morning from heart disease. While preparing to go to work, he was stricken and when Dr. R.P. Carman, 1732 N. Caroline Street arrived, he was dead. Coroner Insley is investigating.
Saturday Jan. 19, 1918 Fatally Stricken While Dressing Coroner Insley, of the N.E. District, is investigating the sudden death of John L. Zimmerer, 26 years old, N. Bethel Street, who succumbed to an attack of what was presumed to be heart trouble while dressing yesterday.

ZIMMERER-Suddenly, on Jan. 18, 1918, JOHN L., aged 26 years, beloved husband of Barbara Zimmerer (nee Kahl). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of his father, John Zimmerer, Silver Spring Road, Fullerton, on Monday Jan. 21st at 8 a.m., thence to St. Joseph's Church, where a requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul at 9 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
